OUR APPROACH


There are several organizations out there that will offer you a tax write-off to enable the “victims” in our society. They give them a resting place and some free food while they decide whether they want to fight hard and work hard to improve their own lives.

We give every person an opportunity to acknowledge their past mistakes, take responsibility for their own lives, articulate their future goals, and meet people who want to reward their efforts and hard work by giving them a hand up instead of a hand out.


Meet the CEO


My name is Donte Lewis and I am the founder and CEO of C.A.R.E. 

Our goal is to Create Accountable and Responsible Entrepreneurs by providing an opportunity to work hard and earn an amount that is equal to the amount of effort our people give.

I was released from jail two years ago with just the clothes on my back. Thanks to people like you, a list of magazines, and the dream to have a better life, I’ve worked my way to a vehicle, an education to becoming an electrician, the money to get my own apartment, and goals to fight for visitation rights and partial custody of my children. 

Please understand that the drive it takes to turn a whole life around comes from believing that it is possible. Take some of that tax-deductible money that you give to help a few people get by, remember the goals of the man or woman you spoke with, and help them come up. Help them become an accountable and responsible entrepreneur.

Our organization is not a charity, and we don’t believe in handouts. We believe in the American Dream, and we encourage hard work. We believe in authenticity. We don’t believe in white-washing the difficult experiences many of our independent contractors had in the past. We don’t believe in spending money on expensive marketing or overpaid executives. We believe that people deserve a second chance. We believe in honest pay for honest work, and we believe in personal responsibility.

Our Business Model

We make our money buying and selling magazine subscriptions to courageous people just like you. The independent contractors we supply with an opportunity are the core and beneficiaries of everything we have put together. We offer them travel and a change of environment. We want them to have fun meeting new people and we allow them to make money developing their people skills.

are the core of our business. Some want to be electricians, some want to be carpenters. Some just want to get an apartment so that they can have a start and a foundation to go get a better job. In all cases, this is going to give them an opportunity to reach their big goal.

Two weeks paid training


We have developed a relationship with three magazine clearinghouses in order to provide our independent contractors with an opportunity to make some real money. Our people have big goals and dreams and we know that taking donations is not the way to reach them. That's a band-aid on a bullet wound. However, knowing that there are understanding people all over the country, we have decided to give every one of our new people two weeks paid training. Because so many people have given me a chance, I am in a position to give one to whoever is willing to work for it.

Free clothes and living expenses


Our independent contractors will have the chance to learn some valuable people skills while they earn the money to start over. We provide them with the tools to do so. The company will pay room and board for all new people. We will provide them with food and buy them suitable attire with a portion of their earnings—approximately 17.5%. They will be paid 50% weekly, while 17.5% is put into a savings account. The other 15% goes to business operations.
